Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives are designed to uplift vulnerable groups, provide opportunities for growth, and contribute to a more inclusive society.

In line with this commitment, Vagan carried out two major outreach programs focused on rehabilitation, empowerment, and community support: a visit to the Correctional Centre for Junior Boys, Birrel, Yaba, and an outreach at the Lagos Cheshire Home.

CSR Outreach at Correctional Centre for Junior Boys, Birrel, Yaba

The Correctional Centre for Junior Boys serves as a safe haven and reformation home for young boys in need of guidance, structure, and rehabilitation. Vagan’s visit to the centre focused on offering support that promotes education, personal development, and overall wellbeing.

Our activities included:

• Donation of essential supplies, including food items, toiletries, and clothing
• Provision of educational materials to support schooling and vocational training
• Mentorship and motivational sessions aimed at inspiring confidence, discipline, and hope
• Engagement activities that foster creativity, teamwork, and emotional wellbeing

Through this initiative, Vagan aims to encourage the boys to believe in brighter possibilities and to equip them with resources that aid their reintegration into society.

CSR Outreach at Lagos Cheshire Home

Lagos Cheshire Home is dedicated to caring for persons living with disabilities, providing them with shelter, support services, and opportunities for independent living. Vagan’s outreach to the home was driven by our commitment to inclusivity and dignity for all.

Key highlights of the visit included:

• Supply of essential needs such as food items, household materials, and personal care products
• Support for ongoing wellbeing programs within the home
• Quality time with residents, promoting companionship and social connection
• Assistance with facility needs to help improve daily living conditions
